Arc De Triomphe Construction began in the early 1800’s and was completed in 1836. Napolean had the Arc De Triomphe built to honor those who fought for France during his regime. Tour Eiffel (The Eiffel Tower) It was created in 1889 for the World Exposition. It was only meant to stay up for the duration of the exposition, however, it still remains up to this day. At first, many Parisians were completely opposed to it remaining. Now, everyone loves it and it is what makes Paris known as the City of Lights. It was created by Gustave Eiffel. Musée du Louvre The Louvre is a famous Art museum in Paris, France. It was opened in 1793. It is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the first arrondissement. Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris Located in Paris, France. Construction began in 1163. The monument was completed in 1345. It’s a Gothic, Catholic cathedral.
