2006/07 - “ Developing Effective Strategies for Learning and Teaching Biomechanics at Senior Secondary Level ” Focuses: Do students learn better? Do students favour the integrated approach in learning? Strategy: Direct teaching before application of knowledge in practical activities Trial activities School ABowling End-of-module written test reflected that a considerable amount of students showed a better understanding of the movement concepts introduced in the lectures Students found biomechanics concepts useful in skill improvement, but they did not favour learning the concepts as they were not HKCEE PE candidates School BHandball with MVA 1 (school team) Handball with MVA 2 (school team)
