Nanjing University's Institute for International Students A. Mandarin Chinese Language Beginning Instruction hours: 16 hrs./week, Credits: 4 Comprehensive Chinese + Communicating Chinese - Instruction in understanding, speaking, reading, & writing - For students with no or little previous Chinese experience - Students learn ~200 characters B.
