Improve your French in New Caledonia A three-week training period to improve your level in a French university To prepare yourself before to going to France Minimum level required : B1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) Period: from November 17th to December 7th 2014 Availabilities : 45 students maximum, divided into three groups of 15 people

Course overview 56 hours courses and visits Creative writing workshop and grammar (12h) Oral and written practice (16 h) Phonetics, pronunciation and oral expressions (10 h) Lectures sessions on themes related to New Caledonia (6 h) Writing a portfolio (weekly newspaper edge) Cultural activities – tours to museums, parks, cultural week- ends (12 h) Sports and outdoor activities

Assessment At the end of the training, students will undertake assessment in all four courses They receive a teaching report receives from the UNC, a transcript mentioning the number of ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) They also have the opportunity to take the TCF test (Test de Connaissance du Français), official French certification valid 2 years (optional cost)

Cultural activities – Sport and discoveries A program of activities is offered throughout the summer school : Visits of the Tjibaou cultural center, museums, aquarium Sports and outdoor activities Cycling tour and forest trails hiking Trips to the beach, wildlife park, lagoon etc. French movie nights and culinary evenings
