Soccer has been around for a while. It originated from England in And has been played ever since. Actually the name soccer is a corrupt form of the original term 'association of football', abbreviated as 'assoc' and is the most recognized sport in the world today.

3. Facts about Basketball:
Basketball was invented in December 1891 by the Canadian clergyman, educator, and physician James Naismith. The game involved elements of American football, soccer, and hockey, and the first ball used was a soccer ball. Teams had nine players, and the goals were wooden peach baskets affixed to the walls. The game rapidly spread nationwide and to Canada and other parts of the world, played by both women and men; it also became a popular informal outdoor game.

In 1895, William G. Morgan, an instructor at the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) in Holyoke, Mass., decided to blend elements of basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball to create a game for his classes of businessmen which would demand less physical contact than basketball. He created the game of Volleyball

I think that everyone should play at least one sport, its very good exercise! Soccer, basketball, volleyball, I love them all! I love sports, that is what I do for my free time. Sports are my hobby. Some day I hope that I can be a famous athlete, and travel around the world and do what I love most!
