3  CCA chosen as lead agency  Focused on noncustodial parents - recruit 1000 eligible persons; randomly select 500 for services  Asked for $5.98 million  Used PSI model of lead agency and collaborative service strategy through contracts for essential services and supports  Planned 3 case management sites  Planned 4 transitional work crews  Enhancements included: Legal – Family law, Civic Restoration Literacy/Education – Basic Ed, Pre-GED, Certificate Industry-Recognized Credentials – NWRC, NCRC Job Skill Training – Certificate, completion of degree Programs Life Skills Training - Parenting/ Communication/Relationships Participant Supports – clothing, tools, transportation Family Mediation Financial Literacy – Asset Building, Home Ownership Referrals – MH, DV, D & A counseling
