2. Student Government Association For students running for Class Office and Student Government Association (SGA) Office, please complete the application packet and return to room 329. Application

3. DHS Ambassador Attention DHS Students: Were you born a leader? Are you full of Bulldog Pride? Do you enjoy serving others? Apply to be a DHS Ambassador. Applications are online and DUE August 24 th. If you have questions about this exciting program, please see Mrs. Montgomery or Mrs. Lawson in the Counseling Office. Application

4. Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Attention students, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is now taking applications. Dues are $35.00. Please see Mrs. Walcott, room 407 or Coach Dwight Jackson, room 405 for an application. The first fieldtrip is coming soon!

5. Culture Club If you are interested in joining the school Culture Club, please see Mrs. Nagel in room 212. The Culture Club’s mission is to give back to the school and school community. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 after school.

6. Ladies Basketball All ladies interested in trying out for Basketball, there will be a sign-up sheet in the cafeteria starting Friday, August 7, 2015. All returning lady players must also sign-up.

Sisters of Virtue If you are interested in joining the Sisters of Virtue, please print, complete, and return an application located on the DHS website under activities, Sisters of Virtue, by Tuesday, August 18, 2015 to Mrs. Johnson-114 Daniel or Mrs. Evans Williams-335. Also, if you are unable to print, please see the sponsors for an application.

8. Reading Bowl The Reading Bowl Team will meet on Friday, August 14, 2015 during Instructional Focus (IF) period in the library media center. Please see Mrs. Letze for a pass to attend.

9. Math Club Those interested in joining the Math Team should meet with Ms. Raji in Room 403 on August 18, 2015. If you are planning to participate with Governor’s Honors as part of the Math Team, you must first join the Math Team

11. Athletic College Recruiting Attention all Athletes & Athletes Parents: A free seminar for all athletes in grades 8-12 who want to play sports in college, will be held at DHS on August 19, 2015

12. Dutchtown Diamonds The Diamonds will be holding an interest meeting to be a mentor on August 12, 2015 1t 3:45pm! If you believe that you are the perfect mentor, please see Ms. S. Williams, Social Worker, in room 205

13. There will be an Informational Meeting On Wednesday August 26 at 3:45pm-4:00pm in room 205 with Ms. S. Williams, school social worker. The goals of the Peer Mediation Team are: To initiate and promote activities that will make Dutchtown High School a “No Place for Hate” campus. To create and promote a safe environment where students feel welcome and accepted. To aid students with resolving disputes between two or more students with the goal of preventing the need of administration from becoming involved in disputes among students.
