Prepositional Phrases
A preposition is a word that tells the time, place, and location of a person or object. Some of the most common prepositions are: in, on, under, between, over, about, with, below, above, for, from, to. A prepositional phrase begins with a preposition and ends with a noun or pronoun. Example: He is sitting on the bicycle. The cat is under the table. Gerardo sits between Kyoko and Ryo.
