Signs & Symptoms After 2 to 7 days may develop a dry, nonproductive cough May have difficulty breathing

Cases in Florida As of April 16, 2003 Florida has reported 14 suspected cases of SARS There are no confirmed cases at this time

Who is at Risk? Health care workers taking care of sick people. Family members or household contacts of those infected with SARS.

What Can I Do? Wash your hands frequently either with soap & water or use an alcohol based hand wash Don’t share eating utensils, linen or dishes with any suspected SARS individual

What Can I Do? Avoid nonessential travel to affected areas (China, Hong Kong, Hanoi or Singapore & Toronto Canada) Cover nose and mouth with a facial tissue when coughing or sneezing Assist in educating others
