3 3 Increased minimum basic pension to Php5,000 Maaasahan ng Lingkod - Bayan

4 4 Revoked the personal appearance requirement for pensioners (ARAS) Pensioners no longer required to visit GSIS for status renewal * except those living in ARMM, abroad NSO to determine pensioners’ status

5 5 Revived payment of proportionate pension Retirees’ pension now computed proportionately from retirement date unlike before when pension was paid a month after retirement date Retroactive from Sept. 2009 Maaasahan ng Lingkod - Bayan

6 6 Pension loan now insured Pension loan now with redemption insurance. Insurance guarantees that full amount of funeral and survivorship benefits will be received by survivors of deceased pensioners. Maaasahan ng Lingkod - Bayan

7 7 Non-Suspension of Loan Privileges of Employees in Suspended agencies No more suspension for employees working in agencies that are delayed, deficient in premium payments (beginning July 2013) Suspended agencies to choose from any of 3 options to restore regular status: 1.Full payment of premium delinquencies; 2.MOA with GSIS; and 3.Payment of at least 90% of any 3 consecutive months’ premium obligations; sign undertaking with GSIS to enter into MOA. 8 Separate clearances from the Office of the Ombudsman, Civil Service Commission and Office of the President are no longer required. Instead, retired members will submit a Declaration of Pendency/Non-Pendency of Case. Streamlining of Documentary Requirements

9 9 Claim proceeds now electronically credited via eCards instead of checks Ensures timely release of benefits Makes processing twice as fast than traditional check payment Used e-Card in Paying Claims starting Oct 14, 2013 Retirement CSV Maturity Pre-need Death Claim Funeral Claim Disability

10 10 Registration Period: April 23 – May 30 Allows low-income members to send children to school Exclusive to children of GSIS members Php20,000/semester and Php2,000 monthly stipend AY 2014-2015 GSIS Scholarship Program

12 12 Established 35 service desks nationwide Retirement Death Claim Funeral Claim For wider reach, GSIS has deployed 35 service desks in local government offices nationwide since March this year. Desks accept loan applications, serves walk-in members and pensioners, transmits loan applications and forms to branch offices for processing

13 13 Deployed more GWAPS kiosks

14 Established 24/7 Contact Center

15 Loan terms are much improved

16 16 Provided easier settlement of loan balance for retiring members (CLASP) Empowers retirees on how to settle outstanding obligations, in whole or in part No more forced deduction of housing loan from retirement benefits; payment is through the Housing Loan Remedial and Restructuring Program Maaasahan ng Lingkod - Bayan

17 17 Implemented a Housing Loan Remedial and Restructuring Program Condones all unpaid penalties, surcharges Grants extended payment terms Uses more systematic and orderly manner of accommodating interested borrowers (by appointment) Maaasahan ng Lingkod - Bayan
