13  Shows a family’s ancestors.  Also called a lineage chart or pedigree chart.  Copy the information from your birth certificate onto your pedigree chart.  Make copies of important records and keep them with your family tree.

14  Interview living relatives.  When interviewing, write your name, the name of the person being interviewed and the date and place where the interview is held.
