D. Language Over 20 different languages are spoken today No official language exists No one language is spoken by everyone in Pakistan Variety of languages has lead to many conflicts in Pakistan

E. Modern Conflicts India and Pakistan have fought in three wars since 1947 Kashmir – Land along Pakistan and Indian boarder Important water resources that both counties claim

Possible Results 1) India may take control of Kashmir 2) Pakistan may take control of Kashmir 3) Kashmir may soon become an independent country
