Educated to degree level standard Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development Financial management experience, including accounting experience and proficiency with spreadsheets Business management experience, with knowledge of human resource legislation Experience of managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams Experience of working in teams and promoting a team spirit Experience of dealing with the general public Good all round management skills with respect to financial management and human resources Knowledge of payroll, PAYE, NI and pension schemes Advanced numeracy, oral and written communication skills Appropriate IT skills and computer literacy, including working knowledge of MS Office software

Job description Job Title: Practice Manager
Accountable to: The Partners Responsible for: All members of staff Purpose of Job: To ensure the provision and development of a high quality patient service within a safe, efficient and effective working environment. Providing significant management and leadership skills for the Practice within the priorities of the NHS Executive. Responsibilities to include: Human Resources; Practice Organisation/Strategic Planning; Finance; Patient Services; Premises – including Health and Safety, Equipment and Purchasing; IM&T.
