Around Lincoln’s time When Lincoln was president the white was still rebuilding from the war of 1812 and was in the Civil War at the time. It was not a good place to live in around his time. A lot of people worked in the white house and had other jobs there and Ford Theater there too.

Today Today, Washington D.C. is still our nations capitol and a lot more famous monuments or places like the capitol building, a better white house and the Lincoln Memorial made in honor of president Lincoln. Also there are sports teams from here like the Redskins (football), Capitals (Hockey), Nationals (baseball), ect.

The White House around Lincolns Time Around Lincoln’s time the white house was kind of like today but smaller. It was a presidential building still in bad, war-like condition. There was a few jobs and a nice sized yard.

White House Today Today the white House is one of the main attractions in the United states. It is very big and a very large front and back yard. Over 35 presidents slept in the same room. A lot of presidential speeches has been said here. There’s a lot of things here like a theater, a lot of gardens, a library, a basketball court, and a lot more.
