2 What is archaeology? It is the hands-on study of the past.
It involves the excavation and examination of sites. It is the careful study and analysis of material remains left by people who once lived or worked in an area.

3 What is an archaeologist?
They study artifacts and features. They hypothesize about the lives of the people that made and used the artifacts. They try to re-create what happened during a particular place and time.
