What is Capital Structure? CS is the distribution, nature and magnitude of an organization’s assets. CS exists in every nonprofit—no matter how small or young you may be. CS always has an impact on mission, program and organizational capacity CS is linked directly to the NFP’s underlying business which is distinct but clearly related to its programs A healthy CS is hard to maintain due to restrictions on your assets.
