The Issue of Debt Is All Debt Bad? Is it possible to avoid debt completely? Exodus 22:14 We are responsible to uphold any loan agreements we make. Proverbs 28:19 This applies to general finance, but can also to apply to loans, cash advance, rent to own, etc. We should have a good reason for committing to a loan, not frivolous expenses like vacations, luxury items, or other items that could be saved up for.
