Harold ‘Doc’ Edgerton Born April 6, 1903 and died on January 4, 1990 Went to MIT for Undergraduate and Graduate School Studying Electrical Engineering His love for Electrical Engineering is what led to his development of the strobe light and studies in the field of high speed photography Pioneer of high speed photography The technology that he developed crossed into many areas including military surveillance photography Over the years he made cameras that could take pictures faster than ever before This revolutionized sports photography and modern photography
