10 Fun Café Questionnaire Findings The most popular healthy activities at the Fun Café were cycling, dancing, cookery and time in the chill out zone The activities people most want to do are making friends, going out for meals, holidays and to the pub Most people did not mind whether they went out in the day or evening Over half the people wanted to do activities with a group of friends 34 out of 54 people said they would go out more if they went out with friends

12 The most common reason for not going out was not having support or a friend to go out with Some people said that an issue relating to their disability, health or mobility stopped them from going out more Some people said money or being in control of their money prevented them from going out A few people said they do not know how to find out what to do in their community Fun Café Questionnaire Findings

13 What have we learnt from our Big Health Talk? 96 people filled in health questionnaires We learnt what was good and not so good about the health services in our area!

14 Big Health Talk We know that not everyone knows how to make a complaint about health services! We are using this information to guide the work of our Health Task Group The Health Task Group has developed a plan to work to improve services

18 Top Five Tips 4.Think about what you want to find out Registration on the day – pack included Big Health Talk We used the questionnaire as an incentive We used the questionnaire to find out: What people thought about the Fun Cafe What healthy activities people would like to do What people would pay to do an activity What stops people doing the things they enjoy If we can involve more people 15 people volunteered to plan future activities

20 Working with Wyre Borough Council to develop accessible cycle scheme Healthy Eating group is exploring ways of making the Watch our Weight cook and eat group sustainable Applied for Sportivate funding to pilot two dance groups in Fylde and Wyre What is happening now?
