Classroom Support We will have classroom support this year from: Mrs. Barrows and Ms. Donaldson Ms. Walsh will also be with us until December

Our classroom rules! *Each student has signed the classroom rules, they are on the front board. 1.Be respectful. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Look at the person who’s talking. Respect others’ property. Don’t talk when others are speaking. 2.Try your hardest. 3.Stay organized. 4.Follow the Core Values.

Homework Policy Each night during the week, students are expected to spend ~1 hour on homework. Please contact me with any concerns. Missing Work Log If a student is missing a homework assignment, he/she must sign the Missing Work Log by writing the assignment and the reason why it was not turned in. If a student signs the Missing Work log 3 times in one month, I will be in contact with you.

Student Planners Each student is expected to write each day's assignments in his/her planner each school day. All assignments are written on the front board. Extra Help Extra help will be available starting after Camp Bournedale. Students may come into school from 7:45-8:10 for extra help or to prepare for an upcoming test/quiz.

Tests & Quizzes every Wednesday - Vocabulary Quiz every Friday - Spelling Test Daily Bite tests occur every five school days. ALL GRADES UNDER 80 (B-)MUST BE SIGNED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN Math, Science & Social Studies tests & quizzes will be given during/after important concepts.

Birthday Celebrations/Snack time Due to the Wellness Policy, birthdays will be celebrated without food. Feel free to send in a non-food treat on your child’s birthday. We are a dairy free classroom. All snacks must be dairy free snacks. Thank you!

Fingerprinting If you are interested in chaperoning at Camp Bournedale or helping out in our classroom, you must fill out a CORI form.

Who am I? Graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science Graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Master’s in Elementary Education I am certified in Elementary Ed and Educational Leadership This is my 13 th year teaching in Wrentham- 2 nd year in 6 th grade I have also worked in Attleboro at Hyman Fine Elementary School and for DODDS in Yokosuka, Japan at The Sullivans’ School

Student Teacher- Samantha Walsh Graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism Currently enrolled in Bridgewater State’s Master in Elementary Education program- graduating in December 2015 Currently work at TPC Boston in the Food and Beverage Department
