THE CONFERENCE Non-Abstract driven sessions (goal here is to develop strategies and ideas to fast-track response to epidemic) Symposia Participative and practical session dealing with critical issues that defy simple solutions. Bridging sessions Connect three areas of science, community and leadership to provide a multi-faceted approach

THE CONFERENCE (cont) Skills building workshops (impart skills that one can use when they get back home) PROGRAMME ACTIVITIES –Global Village (interactive participatory community focused space strengthening conference theme) –Cultural Programme (opportunity to share methods and tools of communication. Incl. visual arts, literature, film, performance art etc.) –Youth Programme (youth empowerment, young scientists, HIV positive youth)
