Days of Noah  Genesis 6:5-15 –  (5) “wickedness of man was great in the earth”  (6) “the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart”  (7) “So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth”  (8) “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”

6. Days of Noah  I Peter 3:20 –  “when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water”

It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger”

Paul  I Timothy 1:12-16 –  (13) “I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man”  (15) “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief”  (16) “However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life”

Paul  Acts 26:9-11 –  (9) “I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth”  (10) “many of the saints I shut up in prison…, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them”  (11) “I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.”

19. Conclusion  II Peter 3:9-11 –  (9) “but is longsuffering toward us, not willing any should perish but that all should come to repentance”  (10) “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night”  (11) “what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness”

20. Conclusion  What a great God that we serve.  A God that is longsuffering, desiring that we be saved.  Yet, we must be willing to repent.  Changing our lives to reflect Christ  STOP sinning & START living for God
