In these activity you will review properties of rectangles, and how to calculate their areas. Do the activities in order. F. Atallah - TIME 20043 Activity 1 Click on icon and follow the instructions. POLYGON Click on the words POLYGON and use the definition to decide if any of the following figures is a polygon. Click on the figure and check your answer. RECTANGLE Now click on the word RECTANGLE. From the list below, select the properties that describe a rectangle by clicking on the letter next to the property. A. The rectangle is a polygon with four sides.A. B. Keep in mind that the base and height are terms used in some math textbooks to refer to length and width of a rectangle. Scroll down to the pink rectangle, click on the game you want. This will take you to the orange rectangle. START Press START, and start playing your game. This game will help you practice finding the area of a rectangle given the length and width. In Example 3, if we know the area of a rectangle, and one of the dimensions, say the length, how can we find the width? Think of a rule and keep it in mind.
