Symbolism  Symbolism is the practice of representing ideas with symbols; giving meaning to objects, events, or relationships.  It is a complex part of literature: allows the reader to assign strong meaning to objects.  Ex: Apple=Teacher; Hearts=Love  Let’s see some examples that are included in your packet.
