Plant poem for test: 25% POEM will be 25% of the grade. –5 stanzas –4 lines / stanza –last word in 2nd and 4th lines of each stanza rhyme (ABCB rhyming scheme) –meaningful use of terminology of unit (at least 8 vocab, underline as you use them) –flowing message with transitions from stanza to stanza –emphasis will be on following the rules and making a serious attempt at a meaningful poem –you may bring this in written ahead of time, but you will have to copy it onto the test.
