3. WHERE ICECREAM CAME FROM
Ice cream came from the continent Europe. It was made in the country china. In the the slaves used to mix milk, and rice together, freeze it and call it ice cream ! In the recipe got to italy and france. In ice cream got brought to north america by the quaker colinist.

4. Icecream factories
A guy named jacob fussell built the first icecraem factory in Pennsylvania .
Then in 1853 he built his 2nd factory in Baltimore, Maryland . After that he built several more in factories in other places
Before factories they only used icecream for special occasions because it was very hard to keep the icecream cold. Before refridgeration they used to put the icecream underground in the winter so that it would stay cold and then eat it in the summer when it was hot.

In the world there are different styles of icecream. these are the different styles
Frozen custards
Sherbert
Frozen yogurt
Gelato

6. How icecream was made
Before machines people used to make icecrean by hand .They used water, milk. salt, sugar and a bowl. then they would eat it. The main ingredients are sugar and milk. In the 1843there was a machine called hand cranked freezer churn. The cranked freezer churn made it smoother that ever.

The USA has more than 1.6 billion gallons of ice cream
The most popular ice cream in the usa is vanilla
The least popular ice cream in the usa is carrot cake
In italy and australia people sell ice cream from boat at the beach instead of ice cream stands and ice cream trucks
