5 ASCA NATIONAL PROGRAM MODEL Provides a foundation for school counseling programs Describes our delivery system School Counseling Curriculum Individual Student Planning Responsive Services Indirect Services Incorporates a management system Ensures accountability

6 RAMP IT UP!!!!! Is based on the ASCA National Model. Is a recognition program for individual schools, not districts or school counselors. Gives you the confidence that your program aligns with a nationally accepted and recognized model. Helps you evaluate your program and areas for improvement. Increases your skills and knowledge. Enhances your program's efforts to contribute to student success.

8 COUNSELING PROGRAM GOALS 2013-2014 1.) To increase the graduation rate from 96.9% to 97.6 % (one more student) 2.) To reduce the amount of freshman failures for 2013-2014 school year from 4.6% to 2.8% - a 1.5% decrease in the failure rate. 3.) 100% of 8 th grade students will choose a career goal during their Individual Graduation Plan meeting with their middle school counselor.
