2. Choosing Colleges 1.Location : weather, lifestyle, area (City, College Town etc.) 2.Athletic Division : NCAA Div. 1, Div. 2, Div. 3, NAIA, Junior College 3.Academics : The coach will be able to tell you how the school ranks academically. 4.Golf Teams previous results under the current coach : Have they improved ranking? Won Tournaments? Scoring Averages?

3. Scholarships Each team is given a certain number of scholarships by the NCAA, depending on golfing and academic standards. If the Coach has 5 full scholarships available, he can divide that 500% amongst his team however he wishes. The percentage of scholarship you receive, is the percentage of school fees that will be covered. Example Fees 1 Year = $30,000 Tuition and Housing 50% = $15,000 – Leaving $15,000 to be funded by yourself + Extra costs including Food and Books. = Around $17,000 to be funded. However, the Coach can pay for Food and Housing if he is willing to do so. 100% Scholarship will include everything.
