2 MEANING OF E-BUSINESS  E-business, is the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) which support all the activities of business.  Commerce constitutes the exchange of products and services between businesses, groups and individuals and can be seen as one of the essential activities of any business.  Electronic commerce focuses on the use of ICT to enable the external activities and relationships of the business with individuals, groups and other businesses.

3 IMPORTANCE OF E-BUSINESS  E Business is important because in today’s scenario Internet has become such a commonplace resource.  Internet has become a more convenient way of making everyday purchases. Moreover, items which are out of reach due to location are now easily available due to accessibility of the Internet.  This not only benefits the customer, but also businesses as well. Businesses are able to reach a larger audience through ecommerce.  Thus, a business that does not take advantage of the Internet is losing customers to those businesses that do offer Internet services and merchandise.

5 CYBER LAWS Cyber laws are also known as Internet Laws.  Cyber law is the area of law that deals with the Internet's relationship to technological and electronic elements, including computers, software, hardware and information systems (IS).  Cyber laws prevent or reduce large scale damage from cybercriminal activities by protecting information access, privacy, communications, intellectual property (IP) and freedom of speech related to the use of the Internet, websites, email, computers, cell phones, software and hardware, such as data storage devices.
