34. Assisting the Church in China Agreed to send his assistant, Mr. Francis Zhou, to Manila to study English and theology. Francis stayed in the Philippines for 8 months.

35. Agreed to send to the Philippines and to support Mr. Quanquan for 6 months as a token of gratitude to Fr. John Chen, Rector of the National Seminary.
