Nuclear energy is generated using uranium which is mined from various parts of the world. It creates energy through nuclear fission. Nuclear fission is the process of smashing atoms together to make steam which turns a turbine which in turn powers a generator. Nuclear fusion is another theory to make energy from uranium. Nuclear fission

The advantages of nuclear energy are: It is cheap It doesn’t produce pollution Lots of energy created from small pieces of uranium. It is reliable
4
The disadvantages of nuclear energy are: The waste is very dangerous, it must be buried. Safety costs a lot of money.

Nuclear power, is superior to fossil fuels because it doesn’t give out greenhouse gasses. One small piece of uranium gives out heaps of energy.more than an average wind farm would produce in a year!Nuclear power, is superior to fossil fuels because it doesn’t give out greenhouse gasses. We think nuclear energy is superior to fossil fuels. It will provide energy for a long time as it will deplete very slowly. It is cheap and reliable. This is why we think it is an excellent choice for energy in the UK and Ireland. Thanks for watching and listening to our presentation.
