University Police Mommy, what do the University Police do? Well Timmy, the University of Toledo Police Department (UTPD) provides 24-hour patrols of all University residence halls, academic buildings, on-campus Greek housing, grounds, and parking lots by foot, mountain bike, and vehicle patrol. They help to ensure the safety of UT students, employees, and visitors.

University Police Office Phone number: (419) 530-2600 Anonymous Crime Buster’s Hotline: (419) 533-7777 The University Police Office is located in the Transportation Center, near the South Entrance of the Bancroft Campus. They employ 30 full-time officers commissioned by the state of Ohio, and have all the power of normal police officers. In case of an emergency, any of the blue light towers or emergency phones around campus can reach the University Police. Other services include:Motor assistance, providing escorts from one building to another at night, lost and found, crime prevention programs
