Blue Sky Funds—Eligibility Projects that reduce air pollution from motor vehicles ; or Projects that support the District’s planning, monitoring, or enforcement programs, and technical studies necessary to implement the California Clean Air Act

How Projects Are Selected Cost-effectiveness based on ton of pollutants reduced. Health impact will also be considered.

Carl Moyer Program— General Procedure 1.Submit application 2.Staff reviews the application 3.Draft a contract and perform a pre-inspection - the District inspector has to witness the engine in operating condition 4.Sign the contract 5.Order and install the new engine 6.Post-inspection - The District inspector has to witness the engine rendered inoperable or the grantee has to provide a proof from a licensed scrapage yard. - The District inspector has to verify the new engine’s specs 7.$$$
