10 WiscCal Plus – SSFC and Non-SSFC Extension of basic WiscCal Services. Allows for resource calendar creation – i.e. conference rooms, vacation calendars, work schedule calendars, and role based-accounts. https://admin.wisccal.wisc.edu/register.asp Documentation on the Helpdesk Knowledgebase, and training sessions are available.

13 WiscLists – SSFC and Non-SSFC Announcement Lists - Mass email distribution Feedback/Open Discussion Lists – Anyone can post to the list, including non-members. Moderated Discussion Lists - Only members can post to the list, and must be approved by a moderator. Unmoderated Discussion Lists - Unscreened before posted to the list.

14 WiscMail Plus – SSFC and Non-SSFC Cost: Free Separate e-mail address delegated to your organization. Contact support@studentorg.wisc.edu to setup an account. Have the following information: Organization Name, account name, manager name, Type of account, and Forwards. xxxx@rso.wisc.edu

15 Wiscmail Plus – SSFC and Non-SSFC Three types of accounts: User: Separate email account you can check and change password. Forwarding possible Role: Separate email account you can check. No password change allowed. Forwarding possible Alias: Account that must be forwarded

25 Downside to DoIT Alternatives In many cases, alternate services have EULAs (End User License Agreements), that allow the hosting provider to do whatever they want with client data, which usually includes distributing with other companies that have partnerships. Support may be lower and loss of customer data may be acceptable to provider
