2 The following graphics are designed to help you to navigate through this Computer Based Training. The navigational guides require a single mouse click and may appear in different areas of a slide but, the majority are located on the right side of the screen. Some slides may have additional information that has been timed to appear on the slide. You may want to make sure you have given time for this to occur before proceeding to the next slide. There is a Content slide with hyperlinks to topics covered in this CBT that may be helpful if a review of a specific topic is desired. 3 If you would like to print this CBT: Return to the DCS web page. Right click on the link to the CBT and choose “Save Target As…” Choose a location on your computer to save the file and click OK. Go to Start, Programs, Microsoft PowerPoint. Choose “Open an Existing Presentation”. Choose the CBT file that you saved above. Choose File, Print from the menu. EXIT To Print this CBT

4 The TNKids system will provide the ability to record a Runaway Placement. Case managers, Resources Managers, Team Leader and Team Coordinators are authorized to make a Runaway placement. Administrative personnel are not authorized to make Runaway Placements. A Runaway placement can be recorded for a custody or a post-custody client. Overview EXIT

6 Placements Icon Double click on the Placements Icon located at the case detail line. EXIT

7 Placements Icon The screen will show the Resource type, Begin and End date, Location Name, Vendor Name and Contract # or Non- Payable type. Since no placement has been recorded this screen is blank. EXIT

8 Entering a Runaway Placement To enter a runaway placement the user will right click and select ‘Add Placement Location’. EXIT

9 Placement Type Selection The user will be presented a new screen. The user will select the placement type of ‘New Placement Location’. EXIT

10 Placement Location Selection The user will then select ‘Runaway’ listed in the ‘Placement Location Selection’ box. EXIT

11 Add Runaway Placement The user will then be presented with the ‘Runaway Placement Details’. If this information is correct then the user will select OK. EXIT

12 Add Runaway Placement The placement is added to the client’s record. The user will also notice five additional tabs. These tabs are read only for the case manager. EXIT

13 Reports EXIT There are no reports specific to Runaway placements although many existing reports will report on this placement type.
