9 What is the difference between Moodle and TAFEVC Moodle is an open source LMS so it is downloaded and runs from your server. TAFEVC is hosted externally and your organisation is given rights to access it. Moodle is modular and can be built upon as your needs grow. TAFEVC can also include more or less features. Moodle is free, TAFEVC has a cost. Moodle is structured in a linier fashion, TAFEVC is grouped in folders. Moodle has built in web 2.0 functions TAFEVC comes with external extras such as live classrooms, eportfolios and authoring tools. ConVerge 08 Anytime, any place, any pace learning
