19. Success at GCSE English Tuesdays and Fridays from 3pm in A Block: Controlled assessment resit sessions will be organised by individual teachers and by Miss Pizan/Mr Cooper. Letters, with a list of session dates, will be sent via post to those who need to attend.

20. Success at GCSE English For most students, all Year 11 lessons are now focused on exam skills and revision of exam topics. English (single entry) lessons will focus on improving Controlled Assessment folders as well as exam skills.

21. Success at GCSE English ‘Supercram’ sessions will be organised later in the year: these usually take place on the Saturday prior to the examinations. An intensive revision day for students who require extra support will run in the spring term.

22. Success at GCSE English – additional support Sixth form English tutors will be assigned to a select number of students for additional one-to-one support early in the spring term. Revision guides will be available to purchase for all sections of the exams: look out for the letter later this term!
