Thomas de Oliveira CIS 1020-063 11/28/2011 FIT FOR LIFE FIT FOR LIFE A guide to personal health

The media today sends us subliminal messages… …on what we ought to look like… …They neglect to mention the need to FEEL good!

WHY DIETS DON’T WORK? It is a temporary goal It is sabotaged once the goal is reached It is mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally draining BY THE WAY, WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU THINK ABOUT WHILE DIETING? FOOD!!!

Appropriation (noon-8pm) -Eating and digesting Assimilation (8pm-4am) -Absorption and use Elimination (4am-noon) -Body waste and food debris We need to forget diets… …and learn how our body works!!! The Natural Body Cycle

The cycle works at its best when: 1. We eat only FRUITS before noon and never right after meals: HOW LONG TO WAIT AFTER EATING OTHER FOOD BEFORE YOU CAN AGAIN EAT FRUIT FOODTIME TO WAIT Salad or raw vegetables2 hours Properly combined meal, without flesh3 hours Properly combined meal, with flesh4 hours Any improperly combined meal8 hours

2. When we properly combine our meals: Steak and Potatoes together Steak and VegetablesPotatoes and Vegetables *70% of each meal should be VEGETABLES And FRUITS and only 30% concentrated food. **When eating two concentrated foods together (steak and potatoes) the food doesn’t digest properly. ONLY THEN WILL WE LOOK AND FEEL THE WAY WE OUGHT TO FEEL!
