Seeking Perfection Such a lofty goal, is admirable, but some say it is impossible; thus there is no need to seek it.
2
Introduction Most people have the concept that perfection is reserved for God and Jesus. It simply is not anything any human can accomplish (except for Jesus). The Bible usage of the term indicates much more that we will show to be possible. These definitions are provided by W.E. Vine in his dictionary of New Testament words.

Perfection Not one definition or description even implies the concept of without flaw, or imperfection, or failure, or sinful on the part of man. Our sacrifice needs to be without spot or blemish. That means we offer the best we have. Yes we can become perfect in God’s sight. As long as we grow and develop as a Christian should.

Conclusion Perfection has many meanings. When commanding man to be perfect, it does not mean sinless. It means blameless, upright, and righteous. If we are to be like Christ in our character and behavior, then we need to be as He was and is. Are you dedicated to being perfect in the sight of God? Perfection should be our goal.
