“Science in the Classroom” is a collection of annotated research papers and accompanying teaching materials designed to help students at the high school, community college, and undergraduate level understand the structure and workings of professional scientific research.

Science in the Classroom is relevant to the Framework for the Next Generation Science Standards produced by the National Academies

Currently, three Science papers have been annotated and are ready for use in the classroom.

The Learning Lens provides guidance that you can turn on and off

Expanded figures include further explanations

Corresponding activities have been built around raw data provided by the authors
