Applied Mathematics http://math.iit.edu/ 4 Graduate Programs at IIT M.S. in Applied Mathematics — 32 credit hours, usually takes 2 years to finish Master of Mathematical Finance — joint program with IIT’s Business School, usually takes 1.5 years Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics — 84 credit hours, takes 5 years with a bachelor degree Ph. D. in Collegiate Mathematics Education — jointly with Department of Mathematics and Science Education, designed for people who teach or will teach mathematics in colleges
