Racing down the court with a humongous amount of energy, it makes me feel like a wild cheetah. I give back all my energy in the ball I try to take my best possible swing. Running back and forth on the court makes my legs fell like they will malfunction. I take my last swing at the ball, for I cannot hit or run anymore, and hope that this shot wins the point. And it does! This is tennis. The best sport in the world. Tennis is a sport that people are still deciding who started it. They are debating between the Egyptians or partially the French. The evidence that there is is that the Arabic word for the palm of a hand is rahat which is similar to the word racket. The French could of started this game that is played all around the world now in days. The French had a game called “Paume” where a ball is struck by the hand. This game was played for European monks for entertainment roles during ceremonial occasions in the 12 th century. Later, the leather glove was replaced with a handle that could hit a wooden ball back and forth. This was the essential birth of the tennis racquet. Everyone should play tennis because it is an educative sport that can teach kids and adults to stay focused in class, work, or even in sports. You learn to stay focused because you have to keep your eyes on the ball. Everyone can play at almost any age because it isn’t that hard to swing at ball once you know how to swing, how to keep yourself light on your feet, and to learn how to get ouside and have fun! (That last one, not so much)
