Throw Catch and Move Throw Catch Move: Set Up: Divide the group into two teams and provide each team with 1-2 balls. How to Play: Once teams have been divided into their group the coach will tell them to start with is to pass and move within the square. After a while the coach will say make a pass and mix it between the other group whilst they are doing it. Then remove all the ball except one then the teams must successfully make 5 passes to a team mate to get a point the opposing team must then try and steal the ball in the air BUT NOT snatch from there hands. Then finally advance the game so they have to successfully throw the ball into two hoops either end of the area to get a point.

The Hobbit Set Up: Put a line of benches along half the hall. And place on bench 3 meters away on its side. The coach choses one person to be on who has to turn his/her back on the group. The others then have to try and steel an object very quietly but quick as the Dragon “smaug” is counting down from 50 seconds. How to play: The others then have to try and steel an object very quietly but quick as the Dragon “smaug” is counting down from 50 seconds. Once the Hobbit has reached their side they must hide the object behind the bench on its side. (The bigger the object the more points) The dragon will then turn around, and he guess who stole his treasure that person is out. But if he get it wrong it’s a point to the Hobbits. (But if smaug Guesses the treasure which is taken but not the person he get the treasure back but the hobbit is not out.) Progression: The children have to run in and out of cones before getting back to their side. The Dragons is blind folded but is allowed to walk around his/her half of the hall if they touch the hobbit the hobbit is out. Add one of the Objects to be a Bell ball. Add more than one dragon and they have to work as a team. Shorten the Dragons counting time.
