1.What are the autotrophs in this food web? 2.Which organism(s) are BOTH primary and secondary consumers? 3.How is a food web different from a food chain?
3
1. Make the ultimate source of energy and label it. 2. Create an autotroph, label it. 3. Make an organism that gets it’s energy from the autotroph. Label what organism it is (ex. Deer), what level of consumer it is, AND what type of consumer it is (herbi, omni, carni) 4. Make the next organism in this chain. Label what organism it is, its level, and what type of consumer it is 5. Make yet another organism in this chain. Label what organism it is, its level, and type of consumer 6. Draw the arrows on the paper showing direction of energy flow. 7. Make the producer worth 3500 kcals of energy (write it next to it) 8. Indicate on the paper (next to the organism) how many kcals each consumer receives from the previous organism. 9. At the bottom of the paper write what happens to the other 90% of energy at each trophic level. CALL ME OVER TO GRADE YOUR WORK!
