Varsity Band Tidwell Band performing at football game. Students who choose band will take a placement test/audition to determine which band they will play in.

Brahms Orchestra Vivaldi and Mozart and Beethoven Students will be given an audition/placement test to determine which class they will be in.

High School Credit Electives You may earn high school credit for the following courses: Spanish 1(requirement for graduation) Communication Applications/Speech (required for graduation)/Health Art 1 (Fulfills fine arts requirement for graduation) Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness Grades for these courses will be included in your high school GPA to be considered when applying for colleges.

Consumer Science II will no longer be offered in 8 th grade

SSI Math and Reading This class will replace an elective for students needing additional support in Math and Reading classes based on their performance on the STAAR Test.

Top Titans Students who meet the following requirements for one six Week period will gain TOP TITANS status and opportunities to earn rewards each 6 weeks. Requirements: Maintain an 85 average in all classes Be free of office referrals Perform a minimum of 5 Community Service Hours
