3. “Formative vs. Summative” Formative: Daily assignments. The goal of these assignments is to increase your understanding and practice your skills. Think of them like practicing for a game or a performance. Summative: Every few weeks. The goal of these assignments is for you to show what you know and can do. Think of these like the actual game or a performance.

9. “Task vs. Craft” Task: Something you do just to get it done. Once you complete it, it is over Craft: Something that you become more skillful at every time you do it. It is never over or finished even though you might complete specific projects
