23.  Remember…  Safety Fitness Determination (SFD) has not been put into effect  Drivers will NOT be rated  At this time, ratings are based on investigation findings  Onsite Comprehensive Investigations can result in Satisfactory, Conditional, or Unsatisfactory ratings  Onsite Focused Investigations can results in Conditional or Unsatisfactory Ratings  Offsite Investigations do not result in rating  Carriers can request an administrative review of its safety rating (Part 385.17)

Proposed change in evaluation: SFD  Assess safety performance of larger segment of industry  Based on roadside performance and intervention results  Rating will be updated more often, conveying current safety condition
