Format of study for course Do independent research (The Internet is our textbook) with respect to the technology or industry topic Generate questions about the topic and business implications for the visiting lecturer Gain an introduction to the technology or industry’s use of technology

Weekly Assignments There is no text book for this course. For reference and independent study, students will research web sources each week for material on the current week’s topic. Five (5) sources are suggested as a minimum set of sources for your study and research. e.g. –Industry Association –Technology product company –Technology service provider –Industry Conference provider (i.e. Insight Information www.insightinfo.com) / Trade Journal www.insightinfo.com –Government department or Ministry You are to hand in each week: –the site sources researched –an evaluation of the web sites research on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 dreadful – 10 awesome) –3 questions for discussion on the technology or industry of the current week
