Holmes Lot Week 1 Discussed and reviewed framing, mapped and measured kitchen cabinet layout and bathroom cabinet layouts, Inspection for Sewer and Water Lateral Connections Reviewed basics of Invoicing, scheduling, and billing on computer excel Learned and studied architect maps, grading maps, and importance of excavating dirt for level plane for new construction. Met with HVAC contractor and mapped were ventilation will go through floor joists Video

Holmes Lot Week 1 Witness Sewer and water hookup with house line and main city line (on right). Street patching in video shown below. Gravel was dumped into cut area then pounded in with special machinery. Video

Holmes Lot Week 2 Marked where bathroom shower heads and drains were to be plumbed out. Configured new location for master bath tub to be placed (conflicted with plumber’s plans) and the locations of hose bibs and sump pump drain on exterior. Consulted with HVAC company about location of certain ducts and ventilation will be placed. Emailed and called new inspector for Nicholas Street. Spoke with Holmes inspector regarding remains of dirt and silt in street. Videos

Holmes Lot Week 3 Laid boards out for roofer truck so mud wouldn’t stick to tires, roofers began lifting crates of shingles to rooftop. Stone for retaining wall was delivered – consulted landscape crew on where to start and place supplies. HVAC crew still punching out duct work, spoke with Fairfax Water about water meter and the fitting/sizing for main water drain Video
