Maze Comprehension Test Take a few minutes to review the materials you will use for this assessment.

Maze Comprehension Test ADMINISTERING -Make copies of Form A Passage for students’ current grade level. Use Passage 10-A for Jr. or Sr. -Use Teaching Passage if needed. -Distribute appropriate MAZE passage. -Have student write name & date on passage & turn face down. -Follow script. - Allow 3 min. NO extended time.

Maze Comprehension Test SCORING -Use appropriate scoring key. -Count any correct answer that is circled, underlined, or otherwise indicated. -Put a check ( ) next to a correct response; mark a line through each incorrect one. -Record Number Correct at bottom of page.

Maze Comprehension Test SCORING INTERPRETATION -Use Scoring Table. -Find row for student’s grade. Use Grade 8 for HS. -Locate appropriate column: FALL, WINTER, or SPRING. -Determine Performance Level based on Number Correct.
